Living locally, I’d been to a lot of Lichfield Arts events. Last year I asked if there was
anything I could do to help bring great artistes, organise great days out and surprise
audiences with the great range of performers and encourage people to unlock their
own creative talents. Now we have a dedicated team and I’d love you to join us.

In these challenging times, the cycle of less-than-ideal news we get on a daily basis can sometimes make it difficult to remember a lot of the good that continues to go on around us. That's why we wanted to draw attention to, and say a massive thank you for, a recent donation that we had from Computer Disposals Limited.
An industry-leading, multi-award-winning company that specialises in the environmentally friendly clearance of computers and electronics, Computer Disposals Limited sent Lichfield Arts three desktop computers and monitors, along with all the associated extras like keyboards, computer mouses and cables, to get everything up and running. All supplied with Windows 10, their donation helps to keep the technical aspects of our activities and operations going for both staff and volunteers alike.
Known for their involvement with local communities, we're very thankful for CDL's kind donation, especially during what's been a tough 2020 for everyone in the country. It's certainly nice to see a company go above and beyond in the midst of such a confusing, unpredictable time.
Phil Beale, our vice-chair, said: "With the importance of the arts as a whole being downplayed during the pandemic, we're very happy with CDL's donation. Not only is it great to receive a gift that's going to help us out with what we do here, it's also a recognition of the significant role the arts play in both our local community and the nation in general. Even when the good news isn't always the focus, it's definitely heartening to be involved with something that might put a smile on a few faces.”
