The crowd that braved the worst excesses of the Beast from the East were rewarded by a set of lively Americana, fine harmony singing, strong song-craft and rootsy virtuoso guitar playing when the Grahams made their Lichfield debut at the Guildhall.

The singer-songwriter Stevie Nimmo and his band gave a masterclass in modern blues when they made their debut at Lichfield Guildhall.
Having recently broken his arm in an accident, Stevie Nimmo was replaced as lead guitarist by the young fire-brand Dave Devlin, but his soul powered vocals and stage presence wasn’t diminished as his passioned, anguished vocals soared through the octaves. With drummer Craig Bacon, and bassist Mat Beable, the quartet powered through many of their own originals, and some choice covers from the likes of Eric Clapton and Freddie King.
