As part of the Garrick’s programme of ‘Family Days’, Lichfield Arts are introducing music acts to the family audiences. Our first act is Ellie Galvin. Ellie has been singing and performing around Lichfield and Birmingham for the past few years, not only as a solo artist but acting and singing in theatre productions.

A near sell out audience turned out to see the final two concerts during a very busy, hectic and musically diverse L2F 2015 Festival. Following Friday Night, all day Saturday and Sunday, something special needed to be pulled out of the bag, and the three hours of entertainment provided by Nancy Kerr and James Fagan, and Blackbeard’s Tea Party made for a night to remember.

Birmingham’s legendary rocker Steve Gibbons and his ex-drummer Sticky Wicket together with ace Big Band Musician Garry Allcock and a host of other stars are performing an evening of 1940’s Music at The Tally Ho Suite, Pershore Road, Birmingham on Saturday April 18th.
After a great opener from the ‘LGTKIDZ’, inspired by the show ‘Matilda’, twelve highly talented acts performed for a packed Garrick theatre. There were many proud families in support – but the whole crowd applauded and cheered for every single act! That’s just how it should be too.

If you are looking for something different to do in Lichfield this Easter then go along to the Easter Cask-Aid Festival to be held at the Bowling Green Lichfield over Easter from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th April.
Besides the normal excellent food the festival will feature up to 25 Real Ales and Ciders from all parts of the country over the weekend plus live music each day.
