Internationally renowned musician and songwriter Roy Wood has joined Lichfield Councillor David Smith in accepting an invitation from Lichfield Arts to become Patrons of this year’s Lichfield Blues and Jazz Festival which takes place in and around this historic city June 2nd – 4th.

The Lichfield Arts Winter Beer festival returned to The Guildhall again this weekend (27th – 28th January) and proved to once again be a great success.

‘I See Jazz!’ is an art project which has taken designs from 250 schoolchildren from Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley and Burntwood which will be suspended above the audience at the Blues and Jazz Festival in June.

If you are looking for something different to do in Lichfield this Easter then go along to the Easter Cask-Aid Festival to be held at the Bowling Green Lichfield over Easter from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th April.
Besides the normal excellent food the festival will feature up to 25 Real Ales and Ciders from all parts of the country over the weekend plus live music each day.
