OKTOBERFEST comes to Lichfield?

The enterprising Lichfield Arts will be promoting a new festival ‘OKTOBERFEST’over the week-end of Friday October 10th - Sunday 12th. Its main theme will be music (unlike the German version) and will feature some of the finest Blues, Jazz & Folk performers over the week-end at Lichfield Guildhall.

To complement the excellent music a varied range of English Ales and draft German, Belgium and Czech beers will be available.

Lichfield Arts Director Brian Pretty said: “This will be a wonderful way of casting away those summer blues and at the same time prepare for the winter months ahead.” He added: “This will be a fine start for Lichfield Arts celebrating its 40th anniversary and will be part of a year long programme.”
