Special Thanks

We have benefited from the superb sound and lighting team at our concerts which has really enhanced the experience for both the audience and performers. We have had some great feedback on the quality of the sound and lighting with Stuart Sampson joining us along with Sam Shelley bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience between them, as well as some fabulous lighting effects! The very experienced Martin Derry has continued to help make the artists sound great which is no mean feat in a building created long before amplified sound! The great team, assisted by others throughout the year, have really worked hard to enhance the experience at our concerts which is really appreciated. With new lights being recently fitted in the Guildhall and some technical wizardry behind the scenes, our concerts now have some impressive lighting effects as well as the very high quality sound Lichfield Arts is known for.

As 2019 draws to a close we would like to also thank all of our volunteers, trustees and staff for their hard work and commitment, which has enabled us to have a successful year and we would also like to thank our customers, members and sponsors for their support which is very much appreciated.

Get involved with Fuse!

Lichfield Fuse Festival has been a huge success for Lichfield Arts but we now need new people to join the organising team to help keep it going and become even bigger and better.

The festival brings thousands of people together over a whole weekend each July to enjoy a diverse range of music, creative/performing arts and much more in Beacon Park, Lichfield in a family-friendly, community-spirited atmosphere.

As Lichfield Fuse Festival continues to grow, we are looking for new people to join our management and co-ordinating teams. We are particularly in need of help with project management, booking infrastructure and performers, fundraising and dealing with compliance issues. It’s hard but extremely rewarding work from November to July in a very friendly, supportive team.

If you love Fuse and think you have skills which could help it run (or know someone who has) please get in touch with us now (before 31st October). Don’t forget it’s YOUR free festival so please get involved!
