I.O.T.A

Venue: Lichfield Guildhall

Saturday 16 February 2019: 8.00pm

Take three female singers, with exemplary musical skills, Sally Barker, Marion Fleetwood and Anna Ryder, add in entertaining stage repartee, and you have the ingredients for a great gig. I.O.T.A are a new ensemble, made up of these three talents. Sally Barker is a singer-songwriter, having worked with the Poozies, and supporting the likes of Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, and Fairport Convention, but she rose to national acclaim as a finalist on The Voice in 2014, with Tom Jones saying of her voice ‘For me, it was just full of emotion. It was just so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself. You swept me off my feet’.

With a voice which has been described as ‘mesmerising’ and ‘siren-esque’, and as a string player, Marion has been a familiar face in the British folk world since being recruited into Stratford-based folkies Meet On The Ledge in 1999.She has worked with the likes of Colvin Quarmby, Feast of Fiddle, Peter Knight’s Gigspanner, The Phll Beer Band and The Jigantics. Anna Ryder is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and educationalist. I.O.T.A’s pedigree as an ensemble is unbeatable. Join them for an evening of the finest music making.
