“A Legend in his own lunchtime & a REAL Bluesman” Mike Harding (The Mike Harding Folkshow 2016)
A hugely popular musician, and a regular performer at the Guildhall, Kent DuChaine’s ability to invite his audience into his world, his life & his heart is unrivalled. His superb musicianship, storytelling & self deprecating humour is why he is loved the world over.
DuChaine shared the stage with many of the greatest Bluesmen & Blueswomen including Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker & Margie Evans. His two year collaboration with Bluesman Johnny Shines (travelling companion of Robert Johnson King of the Delta Blues) gave him access to a huge store of knowledge about the early Bluesmen & Blues music itself. DuChaine plays an 84
year old road scarred “National Steel” guitar.
