Hot on the heels of their new album, Smokey Joe, Folklaw will be supporting Merry Hell at Lichfield Guildhall. With support slots with the likes of The Shires, Seth Lakeman, Mad Dog Mcrea and many others, these fast rising stars of the folk, rock and roots scene bring their energetic set of original music.

Folklaw aren’t just another band, they are a full show. A truly cross genre acoustic group, these talented musicians combine their experience of the live music circuit, festivals and folk scene to create a vibrant stage shows that wins them loyal fans wherever they go. The band are well known for their crowd-surfing fiddle antics, on-stage banter and vibrant, energised performances. Don’t miss your chance to see them live.

The eight-piece folk rock band Merry Hell will be touring in support of their newest release Bloodlines when they appear at Lichfield Guildhall. Founded in northwest England in 2010, they have risen to become one of the UK’s favourite festival bands, winning acclaim from critics and audiences from across the country. Formed around the nucleus of brothers Andrew, John and Bob Kettle, the band fuse a punk sensibility to folk music, creating songs that kick like a mule, whilst sometimes offering pathos and understanding to the human condition. Their new album, Bloodlines is seen as their best to date. Its call for togetherness is the perfect antidote to the issues that are affecting all of us.
