The eight-piece folk rock band Merry Hell will be touring in support of their newest release Bloodlines when they appear at Lichfield Guildhall. Founded in northwest England in 2010, they have risen to become one of the UK’s favourite festival bands, winning acclaim from critics and audiences from across the country. Formed around the nucleus of brothers Andrew, John and Bob Kettle, the band fuse a punk sensibility to folk music, creating songs that kick like a mule, whilst sometimes offering pathos and understanding to the human condition. Their new album, Bloodlines is seen as their best to date. Its call for togetherness is the perfect antidote to the issues that are affecting all of us.
