Marketing Manager (paid)

Lichfield Arts is a small but well-established charity that plays an integral role in the delivery of music and the arts in Lichfield District. The marketing manager will plan and help execute the promotion of Lichfield Arts’ brands and services in order to help them flourish.

This will include contributing to Lichfield Arts marketing strategy, leading on promotion of events and the organisation using printed collateral, social media, advertising, The marketing manager will also support our three festival teams, our website development, production of emailers and mailers and our media relations. The ideal person will have:

• Good experience of marketing, including digital, market research, media relations and advertising

• Knowledge of social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

• Good IT expertise.

• A high standard of written and oral English.

• Be able to write, edit and proof read copy for programme, website, social media posts etc.

A marketing qualification and graphic design skills are desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a person who has a commitment to Lichfield Art’s mission and values with a desire to make a difference. They should be creative, proactive, a team player, flexible, conscientious, responsible and have the ability to support and enthuse others whilst maintaining a professional image.

Hours: Peaks and troughs, averaging out at approximately 10 hours a week. Location: Mainly home based but with need to attend meetings as and when required.

Remuneration: The postholder will be paid £9:50 an hour for 7 hours a week input, although the expectation is that approximately 3 hours a week on average will be worked in addition on a voluntary basis.
