The 6 piece band features Nick on Trumpet and Guitar, joined by Chris Bowden on Tenor Saxophone, Beth Fisher-Dewhurst on Alto Sax, Tom Lindsay on Keys and Vocals, Paul Robinson on Bass Guitar, and Tash Buxton-Lewis on Drums.
Since forming in 2015, the band has recorded two albums ‘Suspect in You’ and ‘Skyrocket’, and has performed many concerts and gigs over the years, including playing at the Lichfield Blues & Jazz Festival, Birmingham Jazz, Jazzlines/BMusic in Birmingham, and now plays regularly at Matt and Phreds Jazz Club in Manchester, where it continues to develop its ‘Get The Party Started’ Pop-Jazz Set.
In addition to these performances, the band has done several concerts with major UK guest musicians, including Mike Walker on Guitar, Dennis Rollins on Trombone, and Derek Nash on Saxes.
Expect funky original music, covers of pop and jazz tunes, great grooves, passionate solos and exceptional musicianship from this lively and exciting band!
