UPDATE – We have suspended ticket sales for this concert while we review the Covid capacity situation.
Our autumn 2021 reopening season kicks off with a bang when local favourites The Sleaze Brothers return to the Guildhall. Their reputation as a good time rock, blues and soul band precedes them, blending serious musicianship with a sense of mischief and fun.
The six-piece line-up of two guitars, saxophone, keyboards, drums and bass, ably led by the gravelly vocals of Martin Derry and the soulful vocals of Ellen Nicholls will plough through blues, soul and rock’n’roll classics from the 1960s to the present day ranging from legends such as Wilson Pickett and JJ Cale to Bob Dylan and Seasick Steve.
You will hear all your favourite soul and rock and roll songs played with flair, panache and a sense of adventure. The dance floors of the country have been empty for far too long. Help the Sleaze Brothers to fill ours.
