Creative Careers Day
Lichfield Arts are delighted to be working with Lichfield festival to bring young people and emerging creatives the opportunity to explore career options in the creative industries.
A day in 2 parts, we will be inviting schools & colleges 10am-3pm, and holding a public webinar event from 6:30pm.
This exciting event offers the opportunity to hear from local industry professionals, watch unique performances, and gain insights and advice to support your own career in the creative sector.

Whether you’re interested in performing arts, visual arts, digital arts or arts management, this accessible event invites you to hear from people who’ve been where you are, ask questions, and get practical tips on how to start building your path. We are proud to be bringing you local voices from Lichfield born talent to show you that you can do it too!

About Our Schools Event
10am-3pm, we will be welcoming 150 young people from schools across Lichfield and the surrounding areas to take part in a range of exciting activities to explore creative careers, pathways to get there, and developing creative skills.
The day will features live performances from Shireenah Ingram and Company Apidae, plus practical workshops designed to spark creativity and build skills:
I Wanna Be a Producer: Learn how to develop and pitch your own project or event from scratch
Skills Studio: Build essential soft skills to support your future career
Level Up Lounge: A creative hub offering 1:1 speed mentoring, CV clinics, apprenticeship advice and more.
Students will also have the chance to take part in a Panel Q&A with:
